ConEd is looking for certified minority and women-owned construction contractors, environmental and waste management, chemical, engineering and HVAC vendors for projects throughout New York City, Westchester and Rockland counties.

At a Procurement Opportunity Luncheon, sponsored by the National. Minority Business Council (www.nmbc.org) and hosted by BNY Mellon Bank at its New York City headquarters, Stacy Simpson, administrator of ConEd's Supplier Diversity Program, outlined ConEd's most basic supplier' requirements for the 90 companies in attendance. "For openers, you have to know why you want to do business with ConEd.
