Artist and Influence Program Spring 2010

Through funding provided by the New York State Council on the Arts, for the past 28 years, The Hatch Billops Collection has been archiving the the cultural achievements and contributions of influencial people in the history and development of African American Art.  On May 9, 2010, Bill Burgess was interviewed by artist and arts administrator, Betty Blayton and videotaped by artist, Camille Billops and historian, Jim Hatch including notable guests who also spoke about his career in museum administration, arts education, office furniture interior design and owning and operating an art gallery specializing in 19th-21st century Afican American Art.
